Mattawan traveled to Rockford and took down the #2 ranked Rams in a huge upset. Bryce Headapohl opened the scoring with a great feed from Kaden Cook, followed by an incredible header from Chase Davis served up by Luke Nicey. Walter Holman delivered an outstanding performance in goal with seven saves, anchoring a strong, cohesive team effort from start to finish. JV came up just short against the Rams, with Connor Worden providing the highlight with a goal for the Wildcats. Next up, the Wildcats head to Paw Paw this Thursday with one goal in mind: keep winning.
